"Compass" Hiking Staff

Made from a branch of the Palo Verde tree (Arizona's state tree). Top carving is a lizard. A working compass is embedded in the top. The shaft sports a "wind spirit".

"Sun Cross" Hiking Staff

Made from a branch of the Acacia tree. Top carving is a rope border. The top portion unscrews at the brass ferrule to reveal a "secret" compartment. A copper Sun Cross is embedded in the top. The Sun cross is a very ancient symbol that I have adopted as my own. The shaft sports a "wood spirit".
