~ The hiking
staffs described here are ones that I have made from pruning trees on my
property or other "found" wood. I find these staffs to be quite useful
when hiking. They can be used to help keep your balance on uneven, rocky
terrain, to provide a tool for discouraging unwelcome critters, to
provide a stable platform for a camera, to lean on when taking a
break, and many other uses. I have chosen to decorate these staffs with
carvings and symbols that are meaningful to me. And they are fun
to make !!
