Paw Jewelry pieces are hand-crafted using select semiprecious natural
stones and
Sterling
Silver (92.5% pure silver) settings.
The stones are cut from larger “slabs” or “rough”
followed by a process of grinding, sanding and polishing, to complete
the final design. The exceptions are the gemstones that are used
in some of the small earring designs. In those items, high
quality stones are purchased to insure a perfect match.
In
all cases the sterling silver settings are hand-crafted from separate
pieces of silver wire and sheet stock, then brazed together to form the
final setting.

Each piece is considered to be an art object that happens to also
be an item of jewelry. So, this
is a “happy hobby” rather than a business enterprise.
